What's up?! The week of April 28th- May 2nd...
---------------------------------------------------------------------
FIELD TRIP on TUESDAY, APRIL 29th!!

"Exercising Your Character, a program  that combines physical activity with motivational messages, takes place in downtown Des Moines. The event is a partnership between Hy-Vee, Inc., Character Counts!, and the Iowa Sports Foundation’s Go the Distance Day, a one-day program that raises awareness of youth inactivity.
The mission of Exercising Your Character is simple: Get kids moving by showing them that physical activity can be fun and eating healthy isn’t hard. The atmosphere of the two-hour program is electric, filled with music, dancing, aerobic exercise, and inspirational speeches from athletes, coaches, and other role models. Adult or child, it’s hard to stand still when thousands of footsteps and giggles fill the room. The message hits home—physical activity is fun—and we are a bit closer to our goal of a healthier Iowa!"
Students will receive a free lunch, but can bring an extra snack for the day. :)
